We have had several bath toys over the years. We chose this one because our toddler is definitely interested in cause and effect and manipulating objects. If you are a kid then this might be a nice toy for them. One issue, however, is that we found some of the valves/knobs too difficult for a toddler to turn. Maybe it will get better with time. This does not interfere, but reduces the playability of the toy. Another problem with bath toys is mold growth over time. It looks like it's better than most as the water drains naturally. Overall, the price is what you get (less than $15) and it's a good bath toy for a kid who really loves cause and effect. However, a little adult help is likely required. And that's okay.
