Red sits slightly narrower than black.
I love this dress and so does my 6 year old. We bought red and black and red is a bit narrower. I have a tiny person so she wears 4t. They will definitely wear black next year, they are much roomier. Red - just above the knee, black - just below or at knee level. Depending on the shoe.

- Great dress for my kids shape. Washed several times and the shape and color are still beautiful. I recommend.
