We bought two Curve beds over a year ago to expand vertical territory for our three cats. Since then, cats have enjoyed it. The overall quality of the wood and fabric parts of this product is excellent. This isn't just a chipboard cat shelf - it's a very durable product. Our cats range in size from 10 to 17 pounds and they all love to sit on the bend. It's big enough for two small cats or a husky. The fabric is cozy, especially the Sherpa fabric. Installation was easy but required two people to align and keep the product stable. Perhaps this could be done with one person, but I wouldn't advise. We used the included hardware and bolts which worked great. The only problem people might have with mounting is if you are mounting on a non-cleated surface. The price of this product is high, but not without reason: the quality is evident. It costs money if you want to make a lasting improvement to your cat's environment.
