Assembly was a problem** to be honest! The tool that came with this phone holder didn't fit the screws that hold my tachometer. Luckily my husband had a long screwdriver that we were able to use instead. It was easy enough to remove the speedo as were the subsequent screws that had to be removed from the back of the speedo. Putting it all back together, however, was a whole different story. Assembling the tachometer with the phone holder attached and the two screws provided was easy enough. The phone holder comes with rubber grommets to fill in the gaps in the studs on the back of the tachometer. Have we installed it? Yes. But when it came time to put the tachometer back on the steering column. What a total PAIN! The phone holder takes up a lot of extra space, and it's DIFFICULT to slip a tool between the car's dashboard and the tachometer to re-tighten the screws. I don't even know what we used (I can ask my husband later today and update this review for more details), but we had to use my smaller hands to tighten the screws. It was slow and tedious. Looks good, although be prepared for your phone to at least partially block the vent to the right of the steering wheel. We just installed it yesterday so haven't ridden it yet but I'm ready to drive to work now so I'll update if there's anything "upgradeable". :-) Edit: I drove everywhere today - rough roads, smooth roads, you name it. This little phone holder held up great! My phone wasn't pushed much and it never wobbled in the "grip" part, which bothered me. Rubber stoppers have done their job, nothing rattles or rubs. Overall I am very happy with this purchase!
