There’s tiny gripping strips on the heels that keep the socks from slipping. I like that feature. Here’s the deal - I live in AZ and I am highly resentful whenever I have to wear socks and actual shoes. I’m always hot. It’s over 100% here a lot of the time. I wouldn’t have a CLUE if the wicking works or not. But, these socks are comfortable, I like the gripping strips, nice colors, and they’re soft. I recommend them. Oh, plus, you can’t see them above your shoes (I forgot that).
