Surprisingly soft and warm scarf. I ordered the camel/plaid version which is quite a large cage. It is woven in such a way that the color of a block or stripe on one side changes to the opposite (thus a gray square or stripe changes color to brown, and a black square or stripe to gray). This gives the scarf a more complex and interesting look when both sides are shown. The sides of the scarf are trimmed with tiny stitches and there are a loose thread or two, but nothing to affect the integrity of the scarf. There is a short soft fringe about 1/2 inch long at the ends of the scarf. The scarf is light and thin enough, but at the same time soft, warm and cozy. It has a classic look and beautiful draping. which seems to be a standard size for this type of scarf (about 1 foot wide and just under 6 feet long) so there is just enough length to wrap it around my neck once or twice and let the ends hang, or it can be tied in A scarf Arrived well pressed and folded, wrapped in a paper fold sealed with the brand logo and stored in a beautiful box with a dark ribbed textured lid. The labels in the packaging indicate that it is made from 100% Australian Merino wool. The current price of $21.99 is more than reasonable for this beautiful, warm and cozy scarf. It looks way more expensive than it really is and would make a great gift. .
