I was looking for a good compression stocking that is easy to put on but does not swell. I had to wait to check because I had a trip planned, a 9 hour trip. I tend to swell a lot and my legs will look like balloons. When I received these socks I thought they didn't reach my knee, maybe they wouldn't be as good as the thick socks I had before. They were very easy to put on but they didn't come down to my knee so I may be an inch and a half shorter than my previous pair. So I was a little concerned that this part of my leg would swell and the other part would not. But I was pleasantly surprised when I got to my sister's house and finally could see my feet, they weren't swollen. These socks are great if you are like me and your feet are swollen they will get the job done.
