7 inches off the floor is the PERFECT size for a 31-32 " kid!
I've seen all the reviews (on this and other versions of the chair) but none mentioned how far the chair was off the floor. We have another toddler seat and it is too high for my daughter to sit in unaided. I wanted something she would use herself. BINGO. Lap. And she LOVES it. I'm sure that everything will be fine even if she is a little bigger but now everything is perfect even at her size (high 17 months) I highly recommend it! I regret a bit now that I bought another set huh for them was probably premature.I'm seriously considering adding the table that comes with this one and removing the other set for a while.
