The magnetic case was beautiful. I bought another magnetic case from the apple store a few years ago and it didn't work because the cover wouldn't stay attached. I was hoping that the technology for these cases would have improved, but unfortunately that's not enough. When the suitcase arrived I checked it. I placed my new iPad Pro in the case and held it by the lid to see if the case would stay attached. And so it happened, and I was delighted. So this morning when I grabbed my iPad by the case cover, as I usually do with previous iPads to close the case, the iPad fell out of the case onto the wooden floor, to my shock. Luckily the fall was about 2.5 feet and the iPad didn't appear to be damaged. What a disappointment. I'm going back to the traditional case until technology improves. It's a shame. The cover was beautifully designed and looked very elegant. i give it back
