Wear your Apple Watch 6 on your ankle when cycling

When I ride my bike I wear this strap and attach my Apple Watch 6 to my ankle. That being said, the watch is now tracking steps for my trip. I don't set the watch to "outdoor cycle" or "indoor cycle", just leave it as is for normal step tracking. This works great and is a very simple solution to getting a step by step loan while cycling.
