Review on πŸ’‘ MELEGAN 49.2ft RGB Color Changing Smart Led Strip Light for Bedroom - Ultra Long App Control Led Light Strips with Remote by Bob Jensen

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The paper is thin, but it's good!

I usually don't like LED strips because they're expensive, but I like the aesthetics of playrooms and such. Will update my review with photos soon as I plan to use them in the break room at work. Anyway, here is the review. First, it's 5050, which means RGB is made up of 3 separate colors. Technically there is no such thing as "white", but it is simulated by changing all the colors at once, essentially giving a 16.6 million color combination, or 255,255,255. That's exactly when all 3 are without dead LEDs are connected in series, so I'm hoping this is quality control at work. You are NOT isolated. This is usually undesirable, but when you're inside it doesn't affect performance. They are not suitable for outdoor use. However, there is a HUGE benefit of not being isolated. They are much lighter. The glue feels just as tacky, but the weight makes it less sticky, so I'm assuming they'll stay. The app seems a little iffy, but the developer is actively fixing bugs. I prefer the remote control, which while a little confusing in the signage, is effective and easy to use. I recommend this 100%. PPE; Do not turn on the RGB strips while they are lit. This is a good way to burn them from overheating.

  • LED strip
Cons
