This is a great product, especially for the price. The fabric is dense, will soften a little after washing. It's a bit big, which is normal for an older child. If the child is under a year old I would choose the lower size category. My baby is 17 months old, wears clothes for 18-24 months and I bought size XL (18-24 months). It's very roomy in length, which I think is great, giving her room to move around comfortably. It's also big at the shoulders and slips a little on her. It's good for her age but I would feel uncomfortable if she were a small child because of the extra fabric. The patterns are adorable and the colors are vibrant. This is a great purchase and the price is perfect for families who need to purchase multiple home and day care sleeping bags.
