I needed some of these for my wall mounted TV so I could reconnect it flush to the wall without kinking or breaking the coaxial cable. I also used the bottom one near the bottom where the coax cable connects to the wall. They worked great in both cases. I have the tools to crimp the ends of the coax so I can make any length of cable I need and have also installed the coax in the walls and actually used those elbows in the box to prevent the coax from coming loose is bent into the box. They seem to work great anywhere the coax needs to change angle drastically and the signal is still great. What I did was run my TV antenna upstairs, with the coax cable going to a box in the wall, and then down into the basement. , where it connects to the splitter and then runs back to 2 different TVs. Now they use the same antenna that gives much better reception in the attic and we get free HD over the air even without an amplifier. I think they work well for other purposes too.
