Review on 🔩 MiLTAT Screw Links for SKX007, SKX009, and SKX175 by Joe Jimenez

I like the look of it, but the Seiko Jubilee that comes with the SKX007 actually suits me better. But the anniversary didn't really fit in with the rest of 007, so he's staying. I should mention that the Super Oyster was a little tricky to install and I'm not new to watches and watch repairs. This was difficult due to the quality of the Oyster and the tight tolerances of the finials. A word of caution: just when you think you've inserted the other end of the spring bar into the hole on the bar, use the spring bar tool and work it around a bit to make sure it actually snaps into place. I thought it was but I checked and of course I missed it. I had to play with it a bit before it sat. Pros: Sturdy construction, fits/looks like it was made for 007.009 (which it was) and looks great. Came with 2 heavy duty spring bars. Cons: (for me) couldn't quite fit my wrist which is about 7-7/8 inches. It was either too loose or too tight, even with fine adjustment of the clasp. The screws that some reviewers mentioned were too loose, they were too tight for me. It took me a very long time to loosen it with a jeweler's screwdriver. I wrapped tape around the handle to increase the leverage so I could finally loosen the two screws to remove a link. I ride a Harley, so I'd rather be too tight than watch it fall off my wrist hitting 80 on the freeway, but I check the bolts regularly. All in all, I highly recommend it as a replacement for Seiko. Delivery was fast. The packaging was excellent. This makes the 007 look like a much more expensive watch. I'm sure as the Northeast cools down it will do better.
