It's definitely fun; ours seems to prefer the ceiling, especially after a full charge. The sensors below and on the side work well; and it will turn off automatically when it hits objects. They don't work well with ceiling fans: the bottom sensor detects the blade and it approaches the ceiling and hits it hard enough to turn it off. Alternatively, he is stabbed with a blade and turns himself off. They definitely don't like mirrors. Still, we had good times using our hands to "push" him from one to the other. It's fun and fun. I wish it had a sensor on top because it's impossible to put down.
