First of all, they're already built! It was a very pleasant surprise. I photographed one of these next to my fireplace because it gives a good comparison of the size and color of the wood. I was expecting darker wood (driftwood, like my robe) but it was more like natural wood, not stained at all. However, these chairs are BEAUTIFUL! I love her. I think my girls (3 and 1.5 years old) will love them too as they seem comfortable and comfortable. I'm sure they will last us for years.
