This camera is a great deal. Note, however, that you only get the camera. Other cameras come with additional accessories such as battery, memory card, charger, etc. Not this one. All you get is a camera. For a battery, charger, good xGB memory card, case, tripod and software, you'll have to shell out some money (unless you want to use Picassa). But it's worth it. It took me quite a long time to decide between this and the Panasonic Lumix, which was significantly cheaper to order by mail. But everyone complained about the terrible quality of the photos, while all users liked the quality of the pictures from this camera. I think it has something to do with the Kodak ColorScience chip. Also, the menus and controls are pretty well thought out. The only downside to the camera's design is that the LCD viewfinder cannot be folded down. So if you want to shoot into the sun when the sun is behind you, you can't rotate it to the angle of the sun. Otherwise this camera has a lot of good features and the Revain has the best price. If you compare it to Canon, you will find that Canon is much more expensive feature for feature, although it is very good.
