This is one of the most embarrassing stories, but it's a testament to how well this product works. I'm the guy who mostly buys organic, but when our baby got to the really smelly diaper stage, we broke down and bought Diaper Genie. After our baby was done with diapers, someone hid the Genie in our garage to use on our next baby. About 2 years later the next baby arrives and we pull Genie out of the garage to dust him off and use him again. Guess what we found?! Inside we found old diapers - not infested with bugs, bags that didn't smell at all outside and the bag was intact. They've been there for years and nobody noticed! Of course, when we cut open the bag to throw it out, the stench enveloped us, but it was remarkably compact the entire time. We were very impressed and shocked at the same time.
