Well I wasn't sure what to expect but looked very solid online. What a joy to receive this mirror! It has a nice big mirror on either side - 5x magnification and normal view on the other side which I like as I can see everything very well. The solid base feels very solid, as does the overall construction with quality mirrors. I love that the brightness adjustment is a knob that you turn to the level you want that gives more than enough light with ease of use! I highly recommend. The manufacturer also offers a free replacement if you break the mirror. I also like that it offers a choice of an adapter as well as a battery box that can be used anywhere. What more do you want? Nice choice!
