10 ONIPAX Bike Wheels 304 Stainless Steel Skewers The springs arrived just in time as I had lost the spring from one of my quick release levers. The stainless steel contrasts well with the black steel of the quick release rod versus the old black spring. I lost the other black because I probably didn't notice. While the bright Onipax stainless steel is clearly visible. Onipax has significantly more spring tension. I threw away the old one and used a set of two new ones before putting it back on the rear wheel. After adjustment, the skewer is fixed easily and holds the tension well.
