I think this product is definitely worth the money. I like that it is quiet and can humidify my living room. The only downside is that I would have liked it to be a bit bigger. The reservoir only holds about 8 ounces of water, or about 4 hours of use. Also, the instructions aren't in English, so I had to look up how to use the product on YouTube.
