Wheels are not like most photos/videos and are missing a few parts

Hope when I have the parts to put this together I will be happier with the product. But for now it was a disappointing purchase. A few parts were missing to assemble. Also, due to the seemingly thick rubber/soft plastic wheels, I bought this specifically for a smoother, more comfortable ride. We already have an older version with hard plastic wheels that's noisy and not too soft on the pavement. However, the photos are deceptive. The wheels are not white "rims" but silver-grey. The tire itself is painted with a wider finish on the outside of the wheel to make it look thicker than it actually is. The wheel is actually about 3.5mm thick. It's hard plastic with a thin rubber coating that looks like it's going to wear out quickly. Doesn't appear to be full thickness. While it's had some pretty decent reviews, I really wonder how this style of bike held up with people. So now I'm waiting for a response from Step2 to see how long it will take to get the missing parts (of course their customer service is closed). I was planning on getting this as a gift for family members but I don't want others to have to deal with such issues let alone being concerned the wheels aren't as good. Update: I received the parts package. from Step2 a few days ago. In my e-mail correspondence with the company, it was not clear when the goods will be shipped. But the new parts package was still missing a screw to attach the handle to the car. So I emailed the company again stating that the item in question was out of stock. Two days later another batch of parts arrived and guess what, still NO SCREW. For real? I have now sent several emails listing certain missing parts. I understand that the missing parts should be included in the standard equipment, but they are not! It's so frustrating. So I looked up the part numbers on Step2's parts page and specifically asked for those parts to be reshipped. (Maybe giving them part numbers would help?!).
