At first I liked this humidifier and paid its price. I love the top fill design and silent night mode. I cleaned the part you fill with water with vinegar every week as recommended. However, a few months after purchasing it, I noticed pink slime on my humidifier, so I took a closer look at the rest of the machine and saw that there were pink slime molds inside, something that was in hard-to-reach places inside! Especially in the fog tube, which is IMPOSSIBLE to disassemble. I soaked it overnight and tried brushing the inside with a toothbrush but couldn't get it all the way out. TERRIBLE DESIGN to clean. Catch 22 because it's impossible to open it, but it's very dangerous to keep working when this mold grows inside. I hope there aren't other people who continue to use this humidifier without noticing dangerous mold growing inside like I did. DO NOT BUY. I liked everything else, but the inability to clean this case is NOT worth it. Therefore I am giving a one star rating.
