Review on Mechanix Wear MultiCam Tactical Camouflage by Tyler Gannamani

I have been using Mechanix gloves personally and professionally for almost 15 years. I wear them as an everyday glove in the winter and they are great until the temps drop below 20*F. They are still the best gloves I have found for the price. However, I find that they could be better in terms of the materials used. The old Mechanix gloves seemed to have a nicer material, especially on the palm, that felt more natural, like suede or soft leather. The biggest issue I've had with my recent purchases, six different pairs to compare, is the quality of finish on the finger boxes. . The point at the end of the fingers where they are sewn inside is sharp and rests on my finger. I don't recall this being a problem with old Mechanix gloves. I actually turned the gloves inside out so I could cut off the finger sections with scissors. ========== Pros: Touchscreen compatible. Fits well. == Cons: Apparently cheaper materials than previous versions, inconsistent finish quality, especially finger flammability.
