So much background noise when connected to USB which is totally unbearable - my bluetooth adapter gets better sound. I had an optical DAC for my old Mac Tower but Apple removed the optical outputs so I bought it for my new Mac laptop as my other DAC didn't have USB. It's basically unusable - I'll be returning it.
