This projector is quiet and the light is not too bright. Being able to adjust the brightness is great. Very short "songs" are fine. My 3 year old asks for it sometimes but mostly we just use lights. Unfortunately, the remote control stopped working after a few months. Now we need to use the buttons on the projector. But it turns on the music/sounds automatically without adjusting the volume. To "mute" we need to connect an audio cable that doesn't plug anything in to override this. Makes it so frustrating to use now.
