Review on Men'S Genuine Leather Loafers: Stylish Summer Driving & Dress Shoes by Steve Wynn

Nice shoes, with one little quirk

These shoes look great and are comfortable. They’re a nice blend of casual, slightly retro and trendy. There is one little quirk that I knocked off one star for. The toe is reinforced with something that feels like plastic or cardboard. You can dent the toe in and it stays that way until you pop it back out (see video). It pops back out easily, but that isn’t something I’ve ever seen happen with a shoe before. I’m not able to "dent” any of my other shoes like that. And for the price, I would definitely have preferred that these not do that. Yet I still recommend these shoes, because you’re not real likely to dent the toes like that unless you drop something on them or someone steps on your toe. If that were to happen you could probably just pop it back out with your toe.The leather is quite nice, and the embossing is consistent and has just the right amount of depth. The insole is removable (I always prefer that). It is rather comfortable, so I’ll keep the factory insoles for now, rather than replace them with one of my nicer insoles (another plus). These shoes look great with so many things: shorts linen pants, jeans, khakis, etc. I chose the white color, which is even nicer than the photos. It is white, but a very slightly off-white or "alabaster”, which makes them look more expensive. For me these run very true to the size chart that the seller provides (and true to my normal shoe size). All in all these are nice shoes at a fair price. Worthy of four solid stars and maybe even four and a half.

Pros
  • Order one or two sizes larger, these are short as well as narrow. Nice looking.
Cons
  • Shoes were dented and folded. See pics of other customers with same issues.
