I suspect the battery was bad or maybe had a bad cell. I tried charging the battery for the first time and even though it was half charged I let it charge for 8 hours and it blinked between 3 and 4 bars (4 bars full) and never fully charged. I took it off the charger and plugged it back in and again it showed the same thing. I sat on it and started the motors, drained the battery (without removing it) and recharged it, it did the same thing, it was flashing between 3 and 4 bars after about 6 hours. I took it out and wanted to drain the battery as much as possible, go back and recharge it in case the cells went out of balance and I took off. Within 2 minutes the drone was telling me to be within 30 meters of it due to low battery (I was about 3 feet away from it and luckily it was about 2 feet in the air) as if it suddenly fell. The props still worked but it just fell off. and it was difficult to turn it off. I'm not sure if this was just a bad isolated incident or if it's common, but that's why I just can't recommend this quad.
