Review on Philips QC5115/15 Series 3000, black/grey by Agata Zakrzewska ᠌

Not a bad purchase, worth the money.

I was planning on purchasing a more expensive model of the same brand for this machine (the reason for my decision can be found in the minus that is detailed below), but after reading the evaluations for the other model, I concluded that there was no cause for me to make any adjustments. As a result, I'm just going to submit a review here regarding our overall experience with this Philips product. The fact that you don't have to pre-charge it for 16 hours, keep track of whether it's discharged from long periods of non-use, or worry that it will run out while you're in the middle of a haircut is a huge bonus in my book. Con: While it's being used, a wire that's connected to the network pops out of the device, forcing you to waste time performing tasks that aren't necessary in order to reconnect the machine. My preference is for the length of the cable to be shorter, but they could make the junction more secure to ensure that nothing gets loose. It's possible that the problem lies just with our device. It's possible that having one that's already charged would be more convenient. Perhaps the price is important. Conclusion. Since we purchased it by mistake during the New Year's sale, I've been using this device to trim my husband's hair for the past five years (when buying goods before the end of the month for a certain amount, the machine is a gift). It did not break down either internally or externally, and there were no abrasions or any damage caused by the operation. Thus, I believe that it was completely justifiable. It would appear that in the event that it fails, we will purchase another identical one.

Pros
  • Easy to use, low cost, long service life, no needless bells and whistles or attachments, and it draws power directly from the wall outlet rather than having to be charged.
Cons
  • During the actual haircut, the wire comes flying out of the machine itself.
