I've used this on myself a few times and then decided to use it to trim the hair on my dog's toes. I have used it several times for this purpose and am buying a new one. Overall it's good value and the quality is as expected, but if treated with care and cleaned frequently, it does the job. BENEFITS* Lightweight - easy to use with small hands and runs on only AA batteries.* Sharp - the blade is nice and sharp and won't pull on your hair. Keeps hair clean.* Keeps hair - (Pros and Cons) The device keeps the hair trimmed which means it doesn't fly.* Dogs don't mind - My dogs are used to rubbing their claws with the dremel every time to cut . week, but I hate using scissors to cut the hair between my paws. You don't mind. Also, I'm less worried about cutting the balls of their feet. CONS * Saves hair - when you use it, the hair clogs the tip and slows it down. You have to remove the nozzle and shake your hair, then CAREFULLY change the nozzle.* The nozzle gets stuck - I put the cap back on the nozzle after the first use. The tip broke off the block, got stuck in the lid, and then the pieces fell apart. After I managed to get the tip out of the lid and put the parts back together, everything worked again. After that, the cover was no longer used.
