Looks great but hurts my neck after a while

So overall, this is a really sexy bathing suit to wear. It does stretch and it is flattering. However, my only complaint has to do with the neck strap which you have to tie around the back of your neck and it tends to start to hurt my neck after a little while. Also, I did feel like the top was going to fall down and expose my boobs, so that’s part of the reason why I had to cinch it up a little bit tighter. I think that’s what caused the pain in my neck. I ended up returning this one, and opted for the more traditional bra strap style bathing suit in the same pattern.

Suit is absolutely adorable and as pictured. Problem I have is that the medium barely fits over my hips. I''m 5ft 6 and 147 lbs. Most of my weight is my belly after 4 kids. My hips aren''t wide but these are definitely snug going over them. If I wasn''t actively working on losing weight it might return them but I am working in the pool for weight loss and tone. So these will soon fit significantly better.
