Review on 🐱 Sergeant's PET Products 3287: The Ultimate Dual Action Flea & Tick Collar for Cats by Lance Harrison

Update: after a week the smell is less pungent, lemony, happy to report (original review below). If they happen to prove ineffective (unlikely, I've always found Sergeant products top notch) I'll update this review again. I can't confirm its effectiveness because the smell was so overwhelming and unpleasant to me that I couldn't expose my unfortunate cats to it. I have been purchasing Sergeant's Gold Collars for cats for many years which have a lovely very faint vanilla scent and work great. Revain don't seem to be wearing them anymore so I thought they might be comparable but no luck. The smell is an incredibly strong perfume-citrus aroma. NOTE: What I did do was take them out of the packaging and let them sit for a week or so to see if the smell fades to something tolerable and if it does I will update this review.
