If you are reading my review and are about to make a decision based on the word 100% organic fleece then please read on as I made a mistake when I did bought this blanket and I am here to warn you that this is not an organic blanket. I bought this blanket because I was looking for something soft, thick and organic for my baby as other organic cotton/bamboo blankets looked very flimsy. I had my first suspicions because I found the price very low as organic cotton isn't cheap. I've also read comments and questions from other people who also raised concerns about whether this is organic. However, when I received it I am now ABSOLUTELY SURE this blanket is NOT ORGANIC because: 1- It looks cheap and looks like shiny polyester. (Check my pictures) 2- There is no fabric information on the label and card. The only thing on the label is "100% Flannel Fleece. Made in China"!3- There are no "Certified Organic" stamps/logos. Absolutely NO CERTIFICATION. There is literally NO PROOF that this blanket 4- I re-read what the company wrote on their page and it seems like there is some unclear information If the blanket is "100% organic fleece" and the organic -Fleece is organic cotton as they state then the polyester material shouldn't be there. If there are synthetic fabrics then they shouldn't write '100% organic'! I've been looking for ways to determine if it is one material is cotton or polyester and found that there is an experiment you can do at home, basically you take a small piece and burn it and if it melts and drips then it's synthetic (polyester ).The cotton is not melted.The cotton h leaves ash and is not sticky. And guess what, the results were obvious. THERE IS POLYESTER IN THIS BLANKET! I uploaded photos to show you what the burned piece looked like and they look exactly like polyester fabric ash. As a parent who cares about my child's skin, I'm moving on now. Steps to this company and I will be waiting for the results from the textile lab very soon and will update my review with photos of the report. But for now, all I can do is warn parents who read my review: if you were going to buy this blanket because it was "100% organic", PLEASE DO NOT. THIS IS NOT ORGANIC!
