I've been using the cable outdoors for about 2 months and can say it mostly worked until 1 month has passed. I assumed it was due to wear and tear from the outside, but it's a waterproof cable so it didn't make much sense. I thought it was just the build quality of the RJ45 connector at the end. Apparently the connector on my connector can't handle as much "load" as a regular ethernet cable. Disconnect and reconnect it. It finally died after 2 months of use and professional installation. Very disappointed, better just buy a thick outdoor ethernet cable and sacrifice the flat cable or style for a more reliable one.
