We had a mysterious poop whose owner wasn't responsible enough to clean up after the dog on a walk. In an effort to be patient and polite neighbors, we collected feces for a few months in the HOPE the offender's owner would take the lead. After realizing that this wasn't the case, we decided to abandon the stakes and decided to "flag" them with neon pink flags, which are used to indicate utilities to make our point more obvious. It wasn't until we hung this sign on the back of our mailbox and left the flags in the rubbish heaps that the owner got a clue; We have yet to see any further evidence of the dog and the unwary neighbor. It was only when another neighbor downstairs asked about the sign that we found out that the dog and his owner had started insulting the other farm! There are now two more of these signs in our area and I hope the owner who refused to do his duty as a good neighbor FINALLY got it straight and clear!
