Definitely adds texture but reduces screen clarity - tiny pixelation is visible.
Definitely provides a better texture for writing on the iPad, slows down the pen's response speed (visible lag), but makes the screen pixelated. Decreasing the brightness reduces this effect. Also, despite the fact that the kit included two screens, only one installation kit was provided. A washer wasn't provided either, but a credit card works just as well. It took a while to install, but slowing down the video and following it step by step did the trick.
