My son is a size 8.5 so I ordered 9 and they are perfect. Plenty of room to grow without getting too big. The floor helps him not to slip too often, but he's wild so he still slips a little from time to time. However, they are adorable and he loves them. They are very soft and the horns are velcro which makes it easy for him to put them on and take them off himself. He wears them around the house all day because he likes them so much. No small blue fluffy bits were found, which is a nice bonus. So many soft things fly through the house and quickly become annoying. This isn't one of them. As a bonus, he's learned his left and right foot from wearing them so many times a day!
