I wanted to return the bag as I was expecting something very poorly made, but I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered a black bag. It is stiff but will soften over time. It's a true black color with some scratches. The handles are very well fitted, the front pocket is a nice addition and the interior of the bag is fantastic. It has a plain khaki cotton lining which is a good alternative to cheap satin patterned linings. It's easy to find things in this bag due to the light lining. There are also several zip pockets on the inside which is great for such a large bag. Most importantly, it has a zipper closure. It closes with a zipper! I was thinking of a Madewell canvas bag but a zip is a must. In addition, all zippers are made of metal. It is suitable for 13 inch Macbook Pro. But there is no lining or padding in the bag.
