Unfortunately I have 3 herniated discs in my neck and the occlusion is almost halfway to the spinal canal. In other words. I live with severe pain, numbness and tingling, headaches and occasional nausea from spinal cord compression. Yes. Not funny. So I had to change the way I sit during my daily writing hours. My doctor advised me to get a chair that would focus support on my lower back and allow me to sit up straight. He also said that a chair without a lot of softness/softness would actually be better than a chair with a lot of padding. After doing a little research, I determined that this type of chair—a hard seat and low back—would be the best option. But. Each one I looked at ranged in price from $125 to $175. Ouch! But I kept looking and looking for the right chair at the right price for me. And found this one. It arrived today on time and very well packaged. The instructions are easy too, and I assembled the chair in about 10 minutes while watching TV. Then. I sat in it. Perfect! Exactly what I needed! Now I can't wait to sit down at my desk and write to my heart's content, knowing that while doing so I will feel less pain and discomfort.
