This is a pretty good plant stand for the money. It's solid wood, not chipboard, and pretty strong. Assembly is easy and only takes a few minutes. It appears to be made from paratree, also known as rubber tree. The legs are made from small pieces of wood glued together in a meat block style. The top is made from solid planks that are glued along the edges so they don't look like the legs. The grain at the top is pretty enough that I almost hate standing the plant on it and covering most of it. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was that it lacked hardware. If you get one of these without hardware you will need 8 6mm x 30mm coarse thread bolts. The 30mm screws are barely long enough. So if you put washers on it, it may take you a little longer., .
