This outfit is adorable and is often worn by my 7 year old daughter. I bought 6x, my daughter is seven but she is a little bit seven. She loves this outfit and wears it often. It has survived about a dozen washes and still looks great, it was dirty from playing in the river and has been cleaned very well. Colored briefs can also be worn underneath (when dry) so that they do not show through.
