I have to admit I don't like house cleaning but I didn't have a choice due to the coronavirus pandemic. I couldn't have anyone come and clean my house. So I decided to upgrade my mop. My old mop was small and used primarily for mopping up spills and didn't fit in my house (about 2000 square feet). After shopping (online and in stores) and reading reviews, I finally settled on this mop for two main reasons: the metal handle and the easy insertion of the mop head. I grew up with wooden mops and after a while the wood started cracking and splitting. The metal handle is made of a lightweight material that is easy to move without being flimsy. I don't have to worry about the parts scratching my hands. The mop head slides in easily and stays in place once the thumbwheel is tightened. Some reviewers mentioned having to constantly tighten the thumbwheel while swiping, but I didn't have this issue. Can't say I'm thrilled with the mopping, but at least it didn't take as long as my old mop.
