Review on Keyboard Rotatable Backlit Wireless Keyboard by Monique Lopez

I initially gave it 5 stars because when we started using this keyboard with my school girl daughter's iPad it was EXACTLY what she and I wanted was very happy with the design and performance of the product .It's sturdy and well balanced.It connects easily to the iPad via Bluetooth and the action on the buttons is really comfortable under your fingers.I lowered the rating because some of the Buttons stopped working after a relatively short period of time. Whatever I do I can't get it to work again. I'm used to fixing things when they break, or at least figuring out what's preventing it from working (a skill I fortunately inherited from my grandfather) stumped.. I made sure it was charging properly, I checked that there was no dirt or dust underneath prevented the buttons from connecting; I did my best to briefly open up and proan analyze the circuit, which I don't currently have the tools for. It just doesn't work anymore. I looked at the return policy on the seller profile and found it to be Amazon's basic 30 day return policy. Although I bought this item in July, tested it and saw that it works, when it arrived it was intended as a gift that was not given until the end of August. So the keyboard was used for just under a month but the purchase was too old for Revain to be entitled to a 30 day return. If this happened after 6 months or a year of heavy use, or if my daughter had a young child who abused the keyboard, then I could understand the wear and tear. Unfortunately, this is simply not the case. Currently I can't buy a new keyboard and my daughter still has to type assignments. For us, at the moment, that's little more than the inconvenience of replacing something. It means reading descriptions and reviews of multiple products and choosing one carefully, knowing that I can only afford to make a one-time purchase. Especially with so many great reviews, it's really disappointing that the keyboard stopped working after such a short time but outside of the return period. :(
