I bought this belt to replace a similar style I bought from Walmart ten years ago and after ten years of almost daily use it finally needed replacing. The parts that first frayed/broke off on my most recent belt (the eyelet at the end of the belt covering the raw end and the loop next to the buckle) are both metal and although threading them was a little fiddly. going through them first, as they are both regular sizes I am very happy and confident that they will last me for many years. The design goes with almost anything too, and the grommets all the way around not only make it look great even if you have a drastic weight change, but can be repurposed for other tasks if needed, such as carrying a backpack. to hold something. If Walmart has lasted ten years, I'm sure I'll live with it for many more years to come.
