This is a solid product. The plastic is very thick and hard, not flimsy at all. The bottom of the slot is meshed to keep it slippery. The coin safe is a great addition. A piece of foam can be slipped under or behind the slot for gripping. Unfortunately they are too short (9 inches), too wide (2 inches) and too stiff for my Honda Civic (very low center console with handbrake and thick racing seats). Other Popular Back Pockets SALE! Car Between Seat Organizer (2 Pack Black PU Leather Good Quality) Car Bag Between Seat Console - Wallet/Phone/Coin Side Pocket is better for my car because they are longer and thinner. I don't know what type of car would be a good fit for these console bags. I would envision a console that sits flush with the seat and doesn't crowd the side of the seat. These would probably fit better. BTW, due to the 2" slot width, this should take up some of the space in your seat rather than center console space. If your car seat isn't wide to begin with, you may feel a little cramped.
