Review on 🎧 ECS WordSmith USB In-Ear Transcription Headset with Advanced Noise Reduction by Sharon Mitchell

Slightly ironic that the reason I bought this headset was to cancel out background noise, which they do pretty well compared to the other two headsets I have that don't cancel out the noise . However, the problem is that when I use this headset with a transcription pedal on my Mac, I hear a very high pitched screeching sound. My other two headsets don't make a squeaking noise, so I know this product is the problem. So after spending a lot of time trying to figure out how to fix the squeaking noise, I emailed the company on September 29th, explaining the situation to them and asking if they had any ideas as to what the problem might be. and whether there were any suggestions for a possible solution. They emailed me quickly asking for my order/invoice number. I immediately sent them a copy of my Revain order receipt. That was the last I heard from them. Apparently they either don't offer product support or don't approve of the fact that I bought them from Revain. All I know is that my noise canceling headset adds noise to my audio recordings, not reduces noise. I think if I could figure out how to get rid of the piercing squeal I could give a better estimate, but so far it's been a waste of $50.
