Overall this is a good coat for my son. The inside is fluffy which he really likes and seems to keep him warm in the snow. My only complaint is that it seems to pick up stains easily and while the bright orange color is amazing when new, I've had a lifetime of stain removal. My son is six years old and an uncompromising guy, so the entire front of the jacket is stained with the remains of an outdoor game. (How did he even manage to find so much dirt when everything is covered in snow this winter?) If this kids' coat was a little more dirt-resistant, it would be five stars. But since that's not the case, this coat doesn't last another season without looking downright mean. and certainly not worth handing over like some of our other coats. Could you do it in fun but darker colors?
