Review on Osprey Apogee Men's Laptop Backpack: Ultimate Tech Companion for Modern Professionals by Jen Coleman

Revainrating 3 out of 5

An almost great backpack.

I broke. I want to love this backpack but I can't. I like a lot about this backpack; Size, smoothness and padding. But I don't like small subjects. Not big enough for my Ti-84 plus CE calculator, laptop compartment not big enough for my legion 5 pro (which has a 16 inch screen but measures 17), water bottle compartment is very cool but quite snug on my nalgene pro 32 ounces The scratch-resistant compartment is a bit difficult to open and the accessory compartment only has a zipper. I don't need a huge travel backpack, but I want my laptop to be protected. Another important thing, the chest strap and waist belt feel very flimsy, I wouldn't wear them when loaded, too much weight with too little padding would probably do more damage with them than without them. Looks like my search for a great backpack won't end with the Apogee. However, if you don't have a fairly large laptop and are more travel oriented. This could be for you.

Pros
  • Top compression straps with straps
Cons
  • Hard to tell
