It's a regular monitor but I wouldn't buy it again. Pros: * Easy to set up * Big size, you can see a lot. 100 good to see. The backlight doesn't stay on to the end, however, when the monitor is turned off, that setting isn't in memory from what I've been able to find. *You cannot enlarge the secondary monitor separately from your laptop, but the screen is huge and the text on it looks much smaller than it does on my laptop monitor. When I zoom in (on a specific application as there is no separate zoom) it affects the zoom on my laptop.
