Pro: - If it works, it's fantastic. - Tight as advertised; I tested it upon arrival by filling it with water and shaking, swirling and pushing in all sorts of directions to keep it flowing. No problem. This was important because I carry it (full of coffee) in my backpack very close to my laptop all day every day. Holds the heat at the perfect time to fill up with near-boiling coffee at night and be drinkable in the morning. Cons: - There seems to be some weaknesses in the threads, maybe only with the newest manufacturers. I've had my first for over a year before it gave a ghost and the plastic threads that let you screw in the lid seemed to warp or get brittle and just fell out. Given the pretty tough life in a college student backpack, I figured this was a reasonable lifespan, and I liked the solid water resistance, so I ordered another one in March. A month of use and I had the same issue with threads becoming brittle and breaking. I may order the same one again to wait until I can research a new thermos after the finale, but if I have time I'll probably look for another brand/model without this defect. TL; DR: no thread error, 5 stars, excellent thermos. Minus 2 stars for the themes.
